The mission of the Illinois Production Alliance is to maintain, promote, and increase the development, creation, and production of film, video, and new media content in Illinois.
The IPA is a non-profit organization representing all segments of the production industry including feature films, television, commercials, new media, corporate, and emerging technologies.
The Community Film Workshop has established a reputation for quality, hands-on, 16mm instruction. The production workshops are limited to ten students emphasizing individual instruction and cooperative learning. CFW's training is comparable to graduate level courses with each student scripting, editing, and shooting their own project. These films can be used as a sample reel for apprenticeships, internships, grants, festivals, and college admission.
